This was originally written as a song and as such, remains in the key of C throughout. The piano arrangement ticks all the ragtime boxes but to make it work on the banjo, I've had to combine the bass and treble clefs by moving up some bass notes and runs from the lower clef to fill the gaps in the music. It is fairly apparent when you listen to it where this has happened. Because of this, I've had to shorten some of the notes to get it all to fit but the overall effect sounds fine to me.
