DESCRIPTION:The Southwest Regional Banjo Rally will be held on Saturda
 y September 3rd. at Backwell W.I. hall, which is located in the centre
  of the village, eight miles south of Bristol on the A370.  Easy acce
 ss is gained from all directions using either the M4 or M5 motorways.Â
   There is also a regular train service to Nailsea and Backwell which 
 is on the main London to Penzance line with connections from Bristol T
 emple Meads.  Free parking is available at the rally venue.\n \nThe 
 doors will open at 12.00pm and continue through until 5.00pm. Admissio
 n is £4.00.\n \nThe format of the rally remains the same as previous
  years with organised playing and regular breaks for refreshments, buy
 ing and selling instruments and music.\n \nShould anyone wish to rese
 rve a stand or display space, please confirm first with Mike Redman.\n
  \nAlthough the Backwell Banjo Rally is intended for finger style ban
 jo, other instruments are welcome for use as accompaniment.  Please b
 e assured that all levels of playing are catered for and newcomers wil
 l find the atmosphere friendly and encouraging.\n \nLight refreshment
 s and gallons of tea and coffee will be available, all at reasonable p
 rices, so there is no need to bring food with you.\n \nFor further de
