Back in the 1960s I frequented a jazz club called the Salutation Stomp held each Friday at the Salutation Inn in my home town of Birmingham. The resident band were called The Artesian Hall Stompers and this tune was one their most popular, often used to close the evenings entertainment. It's usually associated with plectrum banjo, and this is my attempt to arrange it finger style  Sadly the old Salutation Inn is now a four lane overpass and most of the band members are now playing at the great Jazz club in the sky.
