When I first heard the piano midi It sounded to me just like a banjo tune being played on piano (including the rolls).

Geibel was better known for his many religious compositions and hymns and as far as I know, this was his only venture into ragtime so maybe he was influenced by the banjo music of the time

It's a rare early tune which hopefully I've brought back to life. It originally had a chorus which contained the usual non PC lyrics. I've used the chorus as the trio and added a repeat section at the end in the same key. The score and midi are in the library...Steve.
