It was a youtube video performance of this piece that piqued my interest in the style. Again, a webcam video with a bit of brick walling issues on the audio track - very dynamic instrument!

This is probably my favourite performance of "A Ragtime Episode" so far, bar none. I really like the slower tempo, more swing, and cool slides. William Ball plays it too fast; yours is just right. Thanks for sharing

Hey Michael, Like Mike says, that was just how it should be.  The banjo sounds clear and bright, just like a classic banjo should, and the  vitality of the tune comes through beautifully. I love it.

Playing in Cm and Eb is quite refreshing to my ears.  I play another style of banjo where the repertoire is largely in D, A or G.  Nice change of atmosphere here!
