So I'm now the proud owner of my first classic-set up banjo. I went with the eastman and Labella setup. Really happy with it although I need to work on these damn tunes!

Curious to hear views about the sound I'm getting out of this setup. I'm just learning! I also completely messed up/sped up the last parts. p.s. I like that I can switch right to frailing with this set up when the kids wanna dance

Well done!

I think you're getting quite a 'bounce' from that brick wall behind you, other than that it sounds just like a banjo! ;-)

"Lancashire Clogs" is another one of those tunes I seem to "play through" without ever learning. I'll pick it up, mess around with it and then get distracted...

Story of my life...

Love it!  Another classic player with an Eastman.  They are great banjos and you are getting a sharp tone with clear bass.  Good stuff.

Well played, I've never seemed to get this quite right but now I know why, to enter into the Lancashire spirit, the flat cap is a vital addition....Steve.

Yes, well played...there is a lot to memorise.  Your banjo has a bright tone - very Van Eps!

Thanks guys! Joel: They are great banjos, I saw on your videos that you play one too, will stay tuned for more videos! Steve: Funny, my best friend and bandmate is from Blackburn and his name.. Is Stephen Harrison! Our old band is here. Carrie: Thanks so much, I like the bright tone. Hope to sound like Charles Mansell too.

cheers everyone!
