Brilliant!! I remember learning this solo after hearing it played at the first Ridgeway banjo rally in 1993, I must get the music out and refresh my memory on this one.

A delight, Eric. Pat's 2nd is so perfectly steady and Isabelle's Bassoon couldn't sound better. Many thanks!

Tons o fun. Tight playing, too.

The bassoon opens everything up and makes it sound like a much bigger band.

Fantastic, just proves that this old music is still worth playing, nice bassoon, having heard it I must buy one. A really good sound all round.

Nice Job! I would never have thought of using a bassoon for the bass, as opposed to, say, a tuba or string bass, but it blends really well.

That's spectacular! I got a 78rpm banjo solo record of this tune off eBay a while back. Very cool to hear it with a bassoon.
