Another great tune by A. Baur from "The Banjoist's Budget" c.1880 with a fabulous title. These tunes are really growing on me. They are sweet in melody and playful with rhythm...gems to be treated gently. Rob, you have this one in the oven don't you? Jody, keep them rolling...your interpretation is inspiring.

Sorry y'all, I've been on holiday...am just getting back into the rhythm of my 'honey-do' list. ;-) I worked on "Electric Light" yesterday evening. The more I play it, the better it sounds.

I cannot keep up, obviously. Y'all are having way too much fun and all this Baur-discovery stuff is keeping me distracted from practicing or playing much at all (read: excuse #295). I should really get back to working on the stuff I have laid out...but this 'oddball' stuff (from Baur, et al) is too interesting to not mess about with.
