Thank God somebody left in the ending we ALL do before we get a keeper. A little slidey like Bill Evans. eh?

Yes, I really liked Bill Evans' version so I kept the slides. I really struggled with the fingerstyle version, my brain kept telling me I should be playing stroke style; I kept having arguments betwixt brain and fingers.

It wasn't really 'take 21' but it was well on up there. Take 1 wasn't too bad but the microphone was not properly in position so the sound was dim. Take 2 might have been the 'keeper', except there was no sound! I had accidentally switched off the mic. Nice video though. :-(

After that, it was one silly thing after another. The ones I really hate are the ones where I cannot seem to recall the tune at all, first measure wrong, etc.

Suppose the visit to the beer cellar were made in advance of the video recording. Maybe we've all got the sequence backwards.

Jody, I think you're onto something!

Y'know, I'm thinking *bookending* the video sessions with trips to the beer cellar is probably the best option.
