Wow and Wow again. That was a brilliant performance of a great tune. There must be so many great old tunes out there just waiting to be brought back to life again!

Thanks Joel.

For those who want to try this one out, I have just found the musical notation and have uploaded it to our library!

Joel's performance "stars" in there too!

Most excellent, Joel. As Ray Jones told me quite a few years ago, "You can't go wrong with a Weidt tune!"

Bravo!!

Nice picking, Joel. Thanks for sharing. Looks like a Hooks tailpiece on that banjer, maybe.

Ian... your prompt public service is also appreciated!

Well played, you'll have to post the dots..That 1960s banjo sounds good with the nylon strings, what make are you using?

Thank's all!

Yes I really like it, it is just kind of ugly and plain.  The strings I use are the cheapest nylon fishing line the sporting goods store had (around $3 a spool). I take sand paper and scuff them to make them scratchy so my fingertips stick and I can dig in. I use the wound fourths that nylgut sells as singles- till I run out.  Then I'll look for a cheaper guitar string to use.

Yep that is one of my repop tailpieces.  Much better than the Grover all in one that was on it.

That was fabulous, you give the music a nice bounce. Thanks for adding it to the library.Do you

happen to know of any piano/ banjo duets by Weidt.I think you found just the right tempo for

that tune.. Keep up the good work.
