You can never get enough of  good Old Whistlin'  R !!

I believe that the correct name of the player is John Pidoux. (check out the PLAYER BIOGRAPHIES page)

I particularly like how he plays the trio.. very nice!

The definition of the "Banjo" is a little harsh though :-)

Thanks, Ian. I always like hearing JP play. I wonder how he got his amazing tone. Never mind about the snotty commentary.  I think he secretly liked the recording. Why else would he share it on youtube?

After listening to John Pidoux playing in a what sounds like a hailstorm, my friend has had a go at cleaning up the recording. The first 20ish seconds are still pretty grim, but the audio is much improved later in the recording.
