Excellent! Thank you for recording and posting this. That was a splendid combination of a good sounding banjo, good banjo playing, and an unusual piece of music that shows that there are many ways to count 1234.

WOW and WOW again!

Samurai, that was absolutely superb playing. Thank you for posting. That must have taken MANY hours of practice and it was worth it. I learned from the Emile Grimshaw "The Banjo and how to play it" but never got as far as that solo. I have never heard it before and it is really lovely.

Thank you for posting... and that is a great banjo!!!

Oh yeah! What a delight. WELL DONE!!

I like the movement you put into this piece. That's the way it should be played.

And...very nice banjo as well. I'm jealous!

I appreciate everyone 's love comments.:)

Emile Grimshaw 's melody has really beautiful tunes.
When the era changed from 5 string banjos to 4 string banjos, he wrote a textbook approaching in the same way to both.
I think his achievement should be evaluated more in the banjo world.

I 'm grateful to everyone for I met his work on this site.

Top notch.  This is one my favourite videos - I don't know how you managed to play this without any blips.
