SIMPSON
This is my latest restored banjo. It's made by J.K.Simpson about whom I know nothing. It's fret less and made about 1870 and that's all I could find out about it.

Further information re my banjo from Glen Morris, Simpson was born in Colchester England and was a dealer in musical instruments. It is thought that the banjo was probably made by Mathews or Clerc. Simpson moved into selling Jewelry in 1910.
