Anyone got the dots for this piece -- in C notation if at all possible? It's a really nice (ridiculously flashy) showpiece which reminds me of a William Foden showpiece with a similar title (The Wizard... coincidence? I think not!)., published c. 1910.

Doug Back plays this on his CD "The Banjo Goes Highbrow". He's a member here...send him a PM!

Good idea!

Of course, I have another "The Enchantress" in the stacks...not by Mr. Bacon though.  Not surprising that Foden might have a similar piece...they toured extensively together.

I am just packing my sun block cream, factor 8,(essential for us northeners when we go down south), sandwiches and spare pair of socks, for the trip down to Backwell tomorrow, so I will not have time to go through the pile of crumbling paper, looking for 'The Enchantress' today, but I think I may still have a copy. I last played this with Bill Ball in about 1984, and have not really seen it since. If nobody else comes up with it, send me a reminder about it, when I return.
