This year is the centenary of the Royal Air Force and as a tribute, I've revisited  and rewritten an arrangement I did some years ago. I've simplified it somewhat and put it into the Key of G using open G tuning. It's not a tune that you would necessarily associate with the banjo but never the less, it works very well. This march, in my opinion, is one the best ever written by an English composer and celebrates the successful bombing raid on the Möhne and Edersee Dams in Germany during WW2 when the famous bouncing bombs, invented by Barnes Wallis, were used. The march was written to accompany the film of the same name which starred Michael Redgrave and Richard Todd. The score and midi are in the library...Steve.
