This is an early rag that has entered the domain of popular music. Since it was written it has been covered by many of the well known dance bands and jazz bands.

Words were  later added and in 1938, it was recorded by Bing Crosby. I've kept as close as possible to the original piano score which is in strict tempo but anyone who wants to try it can always add a bit of swing in the manner of the dance bands.  The score and midi are in the library...Steve.

Thanks Marc, I had to simplify the link passage after the trio, bars 71-82 to make it banjo friendly but other than that, most of it is pretty close to the original. If you're feeling ambitious, the octave notes, bar 39 onwards, could be played tremolo, my old fingers aren't up to it these days....Steve.

LOL, I couldn't trem those notes even on a good day!  Maybe with a plectrum...
