Hi gang,

I've been going thru a pile of tunes by Alf Wood and picking out the ones I like. This is a neat little ditty in "raised bass" tuning (gDGBD). It has a slow(ish) intro in 4/4 and then moves to 2/4 for the rest of the tune.

Stylistically, I find this one to be very "American" (as its name might hint), the slow introduction being very popular among American composers (like Lansing, Weidt, etc.) as well as the dotted rhythms and syncopations. There's even a 'tag end' that sounds like it dropped in from "Fun on the Wabash".

SUNRISE IN GEORGIA by Alf Wood

Dots, TAB and MIDI are in the library (thank you, Ian!), I hope y'all enjoy it!
