Rosebud (1905)..Scott Joplin

Joplin named this tune as Rosebud and describes it as a two step. It is often called The Rosebud march as it is in typical 6/8 march time. Joplin, whether by accident or design, was not far wrong when he called it a two step. An old time dance called The Military Two-step is danced in 6/8 time and is a popular dance with Scottish traditional dancers.
