John Cohen asked if a banjo arrangement for this tune had been done so I thought I'd see what I could make of it.

The piano score was in Ab/Db and wouldn't fit the banjo so I transcribed it into C/F which seems to work. I had to be bit inventive with the octaves to get everything in. It has an unusual staccato rhythm as Dobyns has punctuated most of the bars with 1/16th rests which makes it a bit more interesting than the usual ragtime tunes. I've also been sparing in the use of chords so this would be a good 'pickers' tune.

The score and midi are in the library....Steve.
