Recently Marc S posted an audio midi of a cracking March. He has now kindly produced a C Notation banjo score and guitar parts.

The scores are available for download from the MUSIC LIBRARY.

Marc describes the piece as being easy to play, so if you want a GREAT march that will sound brilliant on the banjo, and not too difficult to play from either notation or TAB... you are in the right place!

LOL. Of course, "Easy" is always relative! ;-)

Very little of this piece moves south of the 5th fret...but just because all the reaches are easy doesn't mean the timing can't mess with you. I've found it a little difficult to keep it together without having the guitar part playing in the background.

In the TAB, I used the fingering "as published". However, some of the rapid G notes assigned to the 5th string are probably easier to shift to the 1st string at the 5th fret or other more comfortable locations.
