This is a real banjo pickers tune which should give the fingers plenty of exercise.

I've added plenty of fret numbers as a guide to playing. The ghost of The Black and White Rag definitely makes its presence felt here. The score and midi are in the library...Steve.

Lovely! Another "well done!" for you, Steve.

Thanks Marc, You have to think hard about the fingering on this one to get your brain in the right gear. The fingers don't always want to go where you want them to.....Steve.

Yah, some of those 'rag-time' motifs just don't lay under the fingers like you would think. I have a very hard time sussing out fingering (I'll almost always get it wrong at first and then discover later that there is an easier or more efficient fingering).

I'm back on the Morley wagon this weekend, "Ragtime Jubilee" and then "Sylvanesque". Just got thru with a Lansing tune, "Magnetic Clog" and a Gad Robinson one, "Apollo Gavotte". Both were A notation and 'easy' tunes. I'll be sending them into Ian when I get 'em sorted in C-notation.
