A Question For Our British Members

I recently acquired a New Concert Grand that was played plectrum style by a guy with the name of Toft. Toft played at the Savoy Hotel with a band that broadcast on the BBC and that sometimes performed with Al Bowlly. If anybody has more information about him, please message me.
