I'm selling a couple of fine banjos that are ready to go for classic style, and I'd love to see them go to a new home.  First up is an all original Clifford Essex Paragon.  You can view it here:

I also still have my Tubaphone conversion for sale and have reduced the price to $1000.  You can view it here:

Like I've previously said, I'd love for these to go to a classic style player.  They are both powerful, great playing banjos.

You're selling the Tubaphone with no tuning pegs?  Did I read that right?

Yes, it's a modern neck and I need those tuners for another project.  As I state in the ad, I'll source another set of tuners of the buyer's choice.

I found another set of tuners for my project, so I've updated my ad to indicate that all the tuners currently on the Tubaphone are included.

I will alert one of my students. This might be a perfect banjo for her.

I read the sentence about "sourcing " another set of tuners but did not understand the meaning of "source" as a verb.

It’s a great banjo and plays well with both a 1/2” and 5/8” bridge depending on one’s taste in action height. There is another party who’s close to pulling the trigger, so if your student is interested please have them contact me as soon as possible.

She's on the fence because she's never bought an instrument without playing it first. I have done so many a time but I've been playing banjo all my life and can tell a lot from seeing photos.  I think this is a nice banjo at a good price.  She's an accomplished classical guitarist but doesn't have a lot of banjo experience.

It's more banjo than anybody could ever need.  I've been using it as a concert instrument given the size and volume.  It's also nice having the long scale but a full 22 frets.  I'm only selling to fund another banjo, and I have some other banjos that I've been performing with more often as of late.

The ad has vanished from Banjo Hangout. Is it sold?

Yes, it just sold.
